My Photos

   Way back in the late ’70s, I was “into” photography with film (of course). I had a solid basis in being outdoors and ENJOYING all the JOYS of Nature (living in Puget Sound Country). We had a large variety of experiences to explore-salt water, mountains, high desert (80 miles to the east), and rivers and streams. The weather was NEVER an issue to a native, it was all we knew. Carrying a camera, kinda, made the goal to be getting wonderful photos which came a the expense of ENJOYMENT of Nature-I didn’t stick with it too many years!

  Having moved to Boise, I really ENJOYED the exploration of this high desert on the edge of glorious hills and mountains-lots of RVing for many years.

  In 2021, the get closer to Nature  “bug” bit me which led to my choice of learning digital photography (on the incredible cheap, of course). I made the commitment to myself to actually ENJOY Nature first with photos happening as a result (who says that I never learn?). This is my “new” ENJOYMENT! I am getting proficient and getting some really wonderful shots, but the ENJOYMENT of being “out there” is task one.

   Here’s hoping that you find some pleasure in some of these images and, maybe, some inspiration to get outdoors and experience Nature-with or without a camera(not my style, but phones count too).
